Resurrection Christian School is a college preparatory, private Christian school in Northern Colorado, serving families and students from kindergarten through 12th grade.   Our Elementary school goes from kindergarten through fifth grade, Middle School, sixth through eight grades, and High School ninth through twelfth grades. Even though we offer all three schools, the academics, spiritual development, activities and athletics are tailored to fit the needs of each age group. The schools are all on the same campus, yet students are separated within the building.

At RCS, our call is to train socially, relationally, and physically. (Luke 2:52) RCS is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

RCS is the largest private school in Northern Colorado with exceptional state of the art facilities. We have complete computer labs for each building and top-notch integrated technology throughout the campus.

We believe that Christian education should be affordable, and as a result, we keep our tuition rates very competitive. It is our desire that every family seeking Christian education for their children find an affordable opportunity at RCS.

CURRICULUM

Bob Jones is the primary curriculum used in grades K-12.  Emphasis is placed on a strong, phonics-based reading program with several additional sources of literature, including classic literature.

RCS utilizes a strong academic program and students average significantly higher on standardized testing in comparison to the national scores.  In addition to the five core subjects (Bible, language arts, math, science, social studies), numerous electives and specials are offered (art, instrumental music, vocal music, drama, physical education, computer, library, speech, media technology, foreign languages, sociology, psychology, and many other additional electives).

All students attend weekly chapels.  Students participate in many different programs outside of the classroom including field trips, community outreach, mission trips, and special events.

ATHLETICSrcs_image_06_x200

Our middle school and high school athletic programs consist of sports teams organized to compete against other junior and senior high schools in the area.  We offer a variety of sports, including football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, soccer, golf, cross country, and cheerleading.  Note: RCS continues to add additional sports teams as we grow.  RCS is a member of the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA).  In the short time RCS has been a participating school, it has had many opportunities to compete in district, regional, and state competitions.

CLOSED CAMPUS

RCS is a closed campus.  Students are not allowed to leave during the school day unless a parent signs them out for a doctor’s appointment, emergency, or other special event.  Only seniors are allowed the privilege of going off campus.
