Beth joined the team of dedicated RCS Board members in August 2015. Three years ago after relocating from Steamboat Springs, CO, Beth merged her 14-year real estate business by becoming a partner at The Group. Inc. real estate company in Northern Colorado. She graduated from CSU and holds a Master’s degree in Education, which allowed her to serve kids as a high school and middle school English teacher, and later as an elementary school counselor. Her move to the Front Range has given her family a refreshing new start and God has opened many new doors. Tim, her husband of 23 years, has been a public school principal for 17 years and after receiving multiple state and national awards for achievement in his schools, embarked on a new challenge in Longmont. There he worked in a highly impacted poverty school. Last year, he stepped into the senior leadership position at New Vision K-8 Charter School in Loveland, which was just named a School of Distinction by the state of Colorado. Together they have two children, Koby, who attended RCS for his junior and senior year, is currently a junior and varsity baseball pitcher at Division 1 Wagner College in New York City. Their daughter, Kensey, is currently a senior at RCS and serves as the Student Body President, leader of the Rotary Interact Club and plays basketball and soccer. Beth brings her passion for education and achievement to the Board having firsthand knowledge of what it is like to be in the classroom and on a school administrative team. The Bishops attend Foundations Church in Loveland.
